Key mistakes

Do not skip the 700 armor breakpoint
Arcane Persistence is off below 700. Nidus Prime is 525. One Tau Azure or Umbral Fiber. That is the whole trick.
Do not Helminth Larva
Larva is the engine. If you subsume, you subsume Ravenous, and only after Persistence is online.
Do not treat Undying as infinite
Base Undying has no cooldown but costs 15 stacks. Abundant Mutation adds a 30 s cooldown. Dying at 14 stacks is just dying.
Do not confuse companion Link with enemy Link
Companions are QoL: Strength, weapon damage, and the tether survives them going down. Status immunity and 90% redirect only exist on an enemy. Persistence does not stop Viral.
Do not ignore Casting Speed
Virulence without Amber shards is a stamina test.
Do not farm Nidus Prime relics out of Resurgence
Vaulted since 2023. Buy a set or wait. Farm base Nidus on Oestrus if you just want the kit.
