Star Chart, first Garuda, learning the health-for-energy trade

Wrong drop or mechanic?

Why this build?

Starter for Star Chart, first Garuda, learning the health-for-energy trade

Health: Inventory unknownMark what you own. Until then this is a recommendation, not a test you failed.

Play this in Star Chart
  • Bloodletting is Garuda. Other frames beg for Energize. You press 3.
  • Altar is the refund. If you Bloodlet with no Altar and no kills, you will faceplant.
  • Do not Helminth 3. Ever.

Don’t use this for: Steel Path endurance · level-cap content · solo level-cap

0 Forma, basic mods, no Helminth or shards required

You don’t need the shards to run the loop. They are a later ceiling, not a gate.

Bring: Any slash melee / primerGaruda's talons come out if you unequip melee. A real slash melee is still better on day one. Seeking Talons is the later nuke.

Tonight

What is actually up

30 minutes, one hour, or two — matched to this loadout, not a dump of the Origin System.

  1. 30 minutes

    Farm Steel Charge

One named gap. Invasion / Nightwave

  2. 60 minutes

    Steel Charge, then Forma

Finish the missing named card, then spend a Forma if a polarity is still fighting you.

  3. 120 minutes

    One Archon Hunt

If you are logging off after this, stop at the named component. Do not start a second Forma session tired.

Bleed loop

Pocket card. Stick this on a second screen; the long version is the mission below.

  1. 1Bloodletting (3) whenever energy is empty. Your health halves. Energy fills. Status wipes.
  2. 2Blood Altar (2) a grunt. Stand near it. Health comes back for you and anyone else in range.
  3. 3Dread Mirror (1) a heavy if you want a shield. Hold 1 to throw the stored damage.
  4. 4Seeking Talons (4) a pack when you have the energy. Slash procs. Starter guns finish.

First mission — press these buttons

  1. 1

    Altar a grunt

    2

Look at a healthy-enough enemy, press 2. A red tether. Stand near it. Health comes back.

You will know it worked when: An impaled enemy. A heal pulse.

  2. 2

    Press 3

    3

Health halves. Energy fills. You did not die. The Altar is putting HP back.

  3. 3

Talons a pack if you have the energy

    4

    Hold 4, cover them, release.

Common mistakes

  • Bloodletting at 50 HP with no Altar

You will die. Altar first, or kill something, then 3.

When this feels easy

  2. 2Don't buy Primed Flow firstBuy Vitality and Altar uptime. You print energy.
