Key mistakes

Slotting Flow, Streamline-as-energy, or Energize
Energy is 0. Those mods do nothing (Streamline only matters because it fattens Probe's cooldown shave). Put Strength there.
Catalyze on a clean enemy
No statuses means no doubles. Prime first, or imbue and Probe first.
Tapping only, never holding
You are skipping the vial. Hold 4, tap 3 is a different game than tap 4.
