Slash status effects Ash inflicts deal increased damage and last longer. Finishers, Shuriken, and clone hits all feed this. You want Slash on something.
Shuriken
25Ash throws a homing blade that pins and bleeds. With Seeking Shuriken, one hit can fully strip armor once Ability Strength reaches the augment's breakpoint (~167%). Hold to throw two. This is the starter strip and the first ability you Helminth off once clones are online.

Smoke Screen
35A smoke bomb stuns nearby enemies and cloaks Ash. You cannot be targeted. Gunfire still works. Duration is the whole survivability plan — Ash is not a health tank. Arcane Crepuscular gives damage and crit for the whole cloak. Recast before it falls off.

Teleport
25Teleport to an enemy and perform a Finisher. A kill refunds energy. Fatal Teleport skips the setup and force-finishers, which is why the stab build exists. Teleport Rush (augment) extends Smoke Screen on a successful execute and adds parkour speed. You can also Teleport to Blade Storm clones to join the fray.

Blade Storm
Exalted Shadow ClonesBlade Storm is an exalted melee as of the 2025 rework. Marks on enemies summon Shadow Clones that stab with the clone melee grid — Blood Rush, heavy melee mods, the works. Wrathful Advance's flat crit applies. Rising Storm (augment) feeds your melee combo. Do not press 4 with an empty clone grid.
